Induction

First day of level 3 creative media at the college of west Anglia, we started of by getting to know the team and the other people that are doing the course we played an ice breaker which we had to go around the class and ask them questions things like 'if they had breakfast' or ' do they prefer red over blue' or even 'if they play an instrument' and then we got into more depth of what we would be doing for the course, we went and enrolled, we then went on a treasure hunt around the college to get used to the surroundings and the way around the college for example where the canteen is the college shop or even the library to which took 20 minuets to do which we then started our first project 'The Object.'

For the project we were split into groups of three i am with Matt and Liam, for this we got given an object and we had to base a 1 minute film based around the object or the object being involved in some way, the object we got given a tankard, (which looks like the image below:)
but it wasn't as shiny.

within the team we came up with the idea of doing a TV ad about a refillable mug that does it all by it self which we called it the infinity mug, we also came up with the company name infinity incorporated, our first idea was gonna be a guy waiting to get a drink in a very long line at a party to the point where another guy comes over with the infinity mug and pour it into the first guys empty cup and then mug would refill by its self and then coming up with loads of other products at the end.

when we went walking around college to find somewhere that looked party like we couldn't find anywhere so we came up with another idea for a guy to be waiting in a coffee line and the other guy with the mug comes over and fills his mug the same way as in the party idea and also end it in the same way so it is like a sells ad. we planned to do no talking from the characters so they show there emotions more then what they are talking about so we thought a narrator would be better then them actually talking about the mug.
